Nepalight is comprised of residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania who are tired of the “narrative reporting” that the local media has conducted for the last 50 years.  With the demise of the old Scranton Tribune all semblance of fair and balanced reporting ceased.  Residents have been subjected to the “filter” of the editors and opinion writers, real journalism was abandoned.  Many in government and citizens at large were fearful of voicing opinions which was at odds with the narrative.

Non-reporting of the actions of the friends of the editor and the crushing of perceived enemies is what has led to the cloud of despair that hangs over the entire region.  Our goal is to burn through the fog of false narratives that have been foisted upon our residents.  Wish us luck!
